Coconut vanilla bean macaroons

Coconut vanilla bean macaroons

Coconut vanilla bean macaroons

I loved these and I don’t like sweets. They were so fancy but it took me 10 mins. in prep time and 20 in baking and they are the best macaroons I have ever had! I added some vanilla bean to the melted white chocolate as well. I also added mint leaves to this dessert. I don’t like to dip them in melted chocolate because it is to much but to drizzle it on is the perfect amount to me. It’s a great dessert to make if you are not good at baking like me. I give this dish 4 and a half stars! I can’t believe that it was 7 ingredients total.

Orzo with a cheese cream sauce and asparagus

Orzo with a cheese cream sauce and asparagus

I did not like this at all. It was too heavy and there was not enough contrast with the tastes. I think I would have liked it more with green beans and some bread crumbs. I served it cold so it would be more like pasta salad and had a roasted chicken on the side. I would give this side 2 stars. It just needed a crunch and a kick.

Brie, basil, strawberries, honey on baguette

Brie, basil, strawberries, honey on baguette

I loved this quiet subtle taste. It is a great appetizer and looks great with little effort. It’s so easy to make, 5 minutes in prep time. You can have a lot of different food after you serve but it is really meant to be with French food. I would give this appetizer 4 stars for its subtlety.

Spicy Thai noodles

Spicy Thai noodles

This had a sweet, spicy and peanuty taste. It could have used a thicker sauce but I don’t know how to do that other than cook it with a teasp. of flour. I think it is better for a lunch than a dinner. I did not serve it with any thing because it had enough flavors to be by itself. This is so easy to make and quick. I would give this dish 3 and a half stars.

Spicy southern fried chicken sandwich with cilantro lime mayo

This was not spicy as the title said but it was a perfect combo of flavors. I don’t think it needs any more add ins but I would marinate it a little longer. I made a salad with it because it was a good contrast and since it is southern, I would make some cold ice tea or lemonade. I would give this dish 5 stars. I loved to cook it and eat this southern sandwich. It was fairly easy to make.

French Dinner

French Dinner

French Dinner

This is my own invention that anyone can do. So the ingredients are simple.
All you need is…
.grapes
.brie
.manchego
.strawberries
.prosciutto
.salami
.green apple
.walnuts
.baguette
and a good wine.
You can substitute anything you don’t like for a different cheese, meat, nut or fruit. I made tomato soup with this cheese board but butternut squash would go great as well. This is such an easy dinner. You can make it as fancy as you want and you can present it anyway you want. It is very light so i give it 3 and a half stars but depending on how you make it , it will be different every time. Thanks for reading!

I added the Sriracha remoulade from my roasted brussel sprout post to add a spice to it. I also added Parmesan Cheese to this now not so heathy appetizer. This was fairly easy to make but I had to cook it 10 minutes longer than they said to because the inside was not cooked enough for my taste. I did this as a appetizer because it does not go well when you are switching flavors and textures. I loved these after my revisions so I would give it 5 stars after my revisions but three stars before.
